Mutual obligations for job seekers in Victoria
3 August 2020
If you live in Victoria you’ll need to meet the requirements that were introduced in June 2020.
You should engage with your employment services provider online or over the phone. There are no penalties or suspensions if you can’t. We’ll let you know when this changes.
Please don’t come into our service centres unless it’s absolutely essential. If you need to visit a service centre in Victoria, you must wear a mask or face covering. Children under 12 years of age don’t need to wear a mask or face covering.
If you can do your business using our self service options, we may ask you to leave.
Due to COVID-19, service centres may be closed, or open at different times. To find out about changes, please check customer service changes before you visit.
You can call the Job seekers phone line 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
For other states and territories
There’ll be a gradual return of requirements from 4 August.
