17 June 2021
If you’re getting Parenting Payment but don’t have to take part in ParentsNext, you can volunteer to participate in the program.
You can volunteer to participate in ParentsNext if your child is under 6 and you do not live in a Community Development Program (CDP) region or Norfolk Island.
The benefits to volunteering include:
- financial help for job preparation skills
- training to help you develop new skills
- support for other work-related costs.
All participants can access the financial benefits of ParentsNext.
To find out if you can volunteer for ParentsNext, talk with your provider or read about how to volunteer.
