How to save your COVID-19 vaccination proof offline for easy access

There are 2 ways to save your proof offline. You can save it in your Express Plus Medicare app or your digital wallet for easy access.

If you need to show proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations regularly, you can save your proof offline to either:

  • your Express Plus Medicare app or device
  • your digital wallet.

Save your proof offline

To save your proof offline in the Express Plus Medicare app, log in and then follow these steps:

If you’re saving your COVID-19 digital certificate:

  1. Select Proof of vaccinations from Services.
  2. Select View history.
  3. Select your name, then View COVID-19 digital certificate.
  4. Once the app loads your proof, select Save offline.
  5. Select Accept and then OK.

If you’re saving your immunisation history statement:

  1. Select Proof of vaccinations from Services.
  2. Select View history.
  3. Select your name, then View immunisation history statement.
  4. Once the app loads your proof, select the Share icon on the top right hand then Save for offline.
  5. Name the document, then select Save.

Once you’ve saved your proof offline, you can access it anytime from the log in screen by selecting Offline items. From here you can also save it to your device. Select the Share icon on the top right hand and then select where you’d like to save it.

Add your proof to a digital wallet

Don’t forget you can also add your COVID-19 digital certificate to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay using either:

  • the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
  • your Medicare online account through myGov using a browser on your device.

Just remember to update your offline proof if your vaccination details change.
