Families affected by COVID-19 may get extra CCS hours
21 September 2020
If you’re eligible you can now access up to 100 Child Care Subsidy (CCS) hours until 4 April 2021.
We’ve extended the eased activity test for families whose recognised activity level has gone down because of COVID-19.
This means eligible families can access extra CCS hours until 4 April 2021.
What you need to do
If you’ve already opted in to get more CCS hours, there’s nothing you need to do. You’ll continue to get these hours as long as you’re eligible.
If you haven’t applied and would like to, you can do that now. We can back pay you up to 28 days from the date you apply.
