Check your child’s vaccination records are up to date

If you get family assistance payments, we need your child’s immunisation status or your payments may reduce or stop.
To get Child Care Subsidy or Family Tax Benefit your child must meet immunisation requirements. To meet these, your child needs to be up-to-date with their vaccinations.
We check the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) to find out your child’s immunisation status. When your child gets a vaccination their provider will update the AIR.
What you should do
After each vaccination your child gets, check it’s been added to the AIR. If anything’s missing or wrong, contact your vaccination provider and ask them to update your child’s immunisations on the AIR. There’s no need to contact us or AIR.

If you did, take action now. Otherwise, your current Family Tax Benefit (FTB) payments may stop.
To ensure your family payments are as accurate as possible, make sure you check your family income estimate regularly.
