Use your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app or Centrelink online account to check your Child Care Subsidy balancing status.
Check your balancing status using the app
When you open the Express Plus Centrelink app, select More, followed by Child Care Subsidy then Payment Balancing from the menu.
Your Child Care Subsidy balancing status will display as either pending or completed.
Click on Payment Balancing and then Next after selecting the financial year you want to view to see why your balancing isn’t completed.
Check your balancing status using an online account
Sign in to your Centrelink online account through myGov and select my family from the menu, followed by Child Care. From there you’ll be able to select Payment Balancing.
Depending on your situation, you’ll get a message online that says either:
- we haven’t finished balancing your payments yet
- your Child Care Subsidy has balanced, with the date it balanced.
If you get a message that we haven’t finished balancing your payments, you’ll get a second message that says either:
- we have received all the information we need and will balance your payments soon
- we don’t have all the information to start balancing your payments.
Once we’ve balanced your Child Care Subsidy we’ll let you know your outcome in writing. You don’t need to call or visit us.
If you don’t already have it installed, download the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app to your device. You’ll need to set up the app before you use it. Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
