Centrelink payment summaries for 2019-20 now available

10 July 2020

Your payment summary information should now be pre-filled in the ATOs myTax system.

You will also be able to access this information through a registered tax agent. If your payment summary details haven’t pre-filled, you can enter the amounts manually.

If you need to lodge a tax return, you should wait until all your financial information has been pre-filled. Otherwise, you may need to amend your tax return later. You can check if all your information is available on the ATO website. Read more about 2020 Pre-fill availability on the ATO website.

Keep in mind, not all payments show on a Centrelink payment summary. This includes:

  • Family Tax Benefit
  • Child Care Subsidy
  • Carer Allowance
  • Economic Support Payment.

If you only get these payments you won’t get a payment summary from us.

If you get the Coronavirus Supplement, you won’t see it as a payment on your payment summary. It’s included in the total of 1 of these payments you got it with:

  • JobSeeker Payment
  • Partner Allowance
  • Widow Allowance
  • Sickness Allowance
  • Youth Allowance
  • Parenting Payment
  • ABSTUDY Living Allowance
  • Austudy
  • Farm Household Allowance
  • Special Benefit.

You can get a copy of your payment summary through:

We’ll send you any changes we make, to your payment summary. We’ll also send an update to the ATO myTax system if the change was for the last financial year.
