Claim ABSTUDY before December so, if they're eligible, your child can get their payment as soon as possible.
We haven’t asked for one since March 2020. However, from 1 January 2021, you may need to include one.
If your child is moving from an outer regional or remote area to study, they might get the Tertiary Access Payment.
