If you got FTB in 2022-2023 you need to confirm your family income

Published: 5 November 2024

If you got Family Tax Benefit (FTB) you need to confirm your family income so we can balance your payments and keep paying you.

If you haven’t confirmed your family income, we would have asked you to repay all the FTB you got in the 2022-23 financial year. Your fortnightly payments will also stop soon.

For your payments to start again and for your debt to be reassessed, you and your partner need to either:

  • confirm your income by lodging a tax return with the Australian Taxation Office
  • tell us online if you don’t need to lodge and confirm any income you got in the 2022-23 financial year.
