Supporting Dementia Action Week, 18 - 24 September 2023.

Dementia affects close to half a million Australians. About 1.6 million Australians help care for those affected by it.

Dementia Action Week encourages all Australians to increase their understanding of Dementia.

A person with Dementia can give someone authority to deal with Centrelink on their behalf.

The different arrangements include a:

  • payment or correspondence Nominee (or both)
  • person permitted to enquire
  • person permitted to update.

Choosing the right type of arrangement can make a big difference to the customer’s experience with us.
