You can claim Family Tax Benefit online up to 3 months before your baby is due. You can also claim early for Parental Leave Pay or Dad and Partner Pay.

You can’t make an early claim for Child Care Subsidy or Parenting Payment. You can submit a claim for these payments online after either:

• the birth of your baby or
• when a child comes into your care.
