How to add your certificate to a digital wallet

Easy Read information about how to add your COVID-19 digital certificate (certificate) to a digital wallet.


Once you open your certificate on your smartphone or tablet, you can add it to your digital wallet.

 

You might add it to your:


  • Apple Wallet

  • Google Pay.
 

You can add your certificate with:


  • your myGov account

  • the Express Plus Medicare app.

How to add your certificate with your myGov account


You can sign in to your myGov account on your smartphone or tablet.


If you have an iPhone or iPad, use the Safari or Chrome browser.


If you have an Android device, use the Chrome browser.


After you sign in to your myGov account, go to your certificate.


If you are eligible for Medicare, select ‘Medicare’.


If you are not eligible for Medicare, select ‘IHI’.


Next, go to ‘Immunisation history’.


Select ‘View proof’.


Select your name.


If you have an Apple Wallet, select ‘Add to Apple Wallet’.


If you have Google Pay, select ‘Save to phone’.

How to add your certificate with the Medicare app


Sign in to the Express Plus Medicare app.


Go to ‘Services’.


Select ‘Proof of vaccinations’.


Select ‘View history’.


Select your name.


Select ‘View COVID-19 digital certificate’.


If you have an Apple Wallet, select ‘Add to Apple Wallet’.


If you have Google Pay, select ‘Save to phone’.
