Confirm your income for Child Care Subsidy now

16 May 2022

If you got Child Care Subsidy in 2019-20 or 2020-21 you must confirm your income.

If you got Child Care Subsidy (CCS) any time during 2019-20 or 2020-21, you must confirm your family’s income. You must do this by 30 June 2022.

You and your partner, if you had one during this time, can confirm your family income by either:

  • lodging your tax return with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
  • telling us if either of you don’t need to lodge and confirming your income online.

If you got CCS in 2019-20 and you don’t confirm your income, you may have to repay the full of amount of CCS you got for this time.

If you don’t confirm your income for 2020-21, your CCS will stop. You will then need to pay full fees for any child care you use. If you get Additional Child Care Subsidy, this may also stop.
