The relocated service centre has been transformed and fitted with new and improved facilities, to enhance customer experience.
Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the service centre is designed around people’s needs and individual circumstances.
“We’ve listened to people’s feedback on how they would like us to help them be connected with our services and we’re building our customer service offer around that,” Mr Jongen said.
“Some people prefer face-to-face interactions at a time that works for them and now they can do this by booking an appointment to talk to a staff member.
“Others may want to know more about our digital options and how to access myGov or Centrelink online accounts.
“They can book free digital coaching sessions, bring their own devices if they want, and get support setting up their digital accounts.
“These are a few examples of how the new service centre’s contemporary layout and upgraded facilities are tailored to people’s needs and circumstances.”
The new service centre at 5-7 Beach Road is easily accessible by public transport and has ample parking.
The Ayr Service Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
